Following on from our announcement on Wednesday 19th February that Thornton Hibs would be resigning from the East Region Junior Football Association to allow us to apply to join the East of Scotland Football League, we are delighted to announce that at tonight’s Extraordinary General Meeting, member clubs of the East of Scotland Football League voted to accept our application for membership.

As with all the clubs accepted at this time, this acceptance comes on condition that the Board can be satisfied that we fully comply with the entry criteria by the end of our first season in membership, with the proviso that failure to comply by then will result in membership being reviewed.

Our membership will start immediately following the AGM of the East of Scotland Football League; this is due to take place next month.
