This was a night to forget for Craig Gilbert's men at a windy Moorside Park.
Murray Hoy put Dundonald ahead in the 7th minute after his first attempt had been cleared off the line by Sean Cunningham and this turned out to be the only game with Craig Doctor being the busier goalkeeper, one save in particular from Scott Dunn falling into the outstanding category.
There's no doubt that the home side deserved to take all three points although the Hibs came mighty close to 'stealing' a point right at the death when Lewis Bennet saw his netbound effort being knocked wide by Sam Ellis. Lewis Rodger took the resultant corner-kick with Dan McBay heading the ball narrowly over.
