Two goals from Ewan Henderson (he also hit the post and watched Mark Robertson claw a netbound header off the line) earned the Hibs a draw in their third pre-season friendly at Newburgh.
 
Josh Wilson's shot was deflected into his own goal by Thornton's captain, Ian Shanks, to put 'Burgh ahead in the 23rd minute. Henderson equalised in the 38th minute but on the stroke of half-time, Stuart Fowler restored the home side's lead.
 
Seven minutes into the second-half, Henderson netted from a ridiculous angle to level affairs but try as they might, neither side could dig out a winner.
