The Hibs' preparations for the new season continued with a 2-1 defeat from near-neighbours, Dundonald. Colin Wilson put the visitors ahead in the 11th minute when he bundled home Conrad Courts' corner-kick from close range.
 
Daniel McNab came close to equalising in the 59th minute with a terrific free-kick that smashed off the crossbar but the next goal came at the other end from Barry Sibanda in the 75th minute and he might've scored again when his effort struck the crossbar.
 
The last word went to Ewan Henderson, though, as he moved on to Liam Mann's perfect through ball to coolly slide the ball past Jordan Mushet three minutes from time.
