The Hibs defeated Rosyth 3-1 at a sunny Memorial Park tonight.
 
Tam Hampson gave the visitors a 16th minute lead before Daniel McNab equalised from the spot four minutes later after Stuart Drummond had been impeded in the area. New signing (from St Andrews United), Shaun Keatings was one of five half-time subs and within four minutes his quality finish put Thornton ahead.
 
Late in the second-half, Chris Ireland scored a second penalty after Daniel McNab had been brought down.
