The Hibs won this friendly 4-1 on a dreich night at Memorial Park. Chris Ireland, Garry Thomson snr and Daniel McNab had Thornton three ahead at the interval. McNab then claimed the fourth before ex-Thornton Hibs U19 player, Liam Macduff, reduced the deficit to three.
