Watched by Hibernian's Lewis Stevenson, the Hibs defeated Denbeath AFC 1-0 in Memorial Park tonight. In a good game of football, the only goal came from Garry Thomson snr.
 
The fact there was only one goal was down to the form shown by both 'keepers - Matthew Clark for the Hibs and Ryan Linton for the visitors. If they play like that this season then Denbeath wont be far away when the awards are handed out at the end of 2016/17.
