After two games without a goal to their name, the Hibs finally found their shooting boots albeit the game against Lochore Welfare was only a friendly.
Ben Anthony netted the opener in the 10th minute with Murray Fraser equalising for Andy Healy's team eleven minutes later.
Chris Ireland headed Thornton back in front in the 27th minute and by half-time it was 4-1 with the other goals coming from Ben Anthony & Andy Adam.
The Hibs made no fewer than seven changes at half-time and it was one of the subs, Nathan Kiristino, who scored the fifth in the 56th minute. Chris Ireland smashed home the sixth and final goal in the 63rd minute and it's to be hoped that the Hibs can keep this form up when Whitburn visit Memorial Park on Saturday on our return to competitive action.
