Following our conditional acceptance to East of Scotland Football League, we have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to meet the league expectations so that we can continue as a club, beyond this season. One of the league requirements is to have a perimeter fence around our grounds, and without this fence Thornton Hibs would have been forced to fold, with knock on effects to Thornton Loco’s and to the many local business that we are in partnership with.

We are delighted to announce that this week, that after many sleepless nights over the summer - we will begin work on erecting a perimeter fence at Memorial Park. For those in the community, we appreciate that this will change how the Park looks and feels, but our commitment to you is to work collaboratively to ensure that Thornton Hibs continue to provide entertainment, support to local business, and to hopefully bring a lot of success to the village!

As a reminder due to ongoing COVID restrictions, our first League game as part of EoSFL at home to Edinburgh South, on Saturday 10th October will be played without spectators.
