Everyone at Thornton Hibs is saddened to hear of the passing of Craig Danks. Danksy signed for us in the summer of 2003 from Glenrothes Strollers U21 along with Ian Hepburn and Stuart Thomson. In his first season he was a member of the squad that won the Fife Junior League and was the joint winner of the Lowe Trophy (Supporters' PoY) with Darren Francis. In all he was three seasons at Memorial Park making 59 appearances enjoying 13 clean sheets. He is pictured at the Player of the Year night in The Corner Shop in 2004 along with Mikey Cunningham and Darren Francis.
Prior to kick-off today a minutes silence was observed. Our thoughts are with Craig's friends and family at this very sad time.
