Prior to last Saturday's game against Penicuik Athletic, the teams observed a minute's silence as a mark of respect to Bobby Philp who passed away recently.

Bobby played for us in the memorable season 1959/60 when we won the Cowdenbeath Cup, the West Fife Cup and reached the semi-final of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Bobby is pictured with his brother Dave (who also had a spell with the Hibs) when they returned to Memorial Park in 2020 to watch our game against Tayport as part of Bobby's 80th birthday celebrations.

Bobby's funeral will be at Dunfermline Crematorium on Thursday 27 August at 11.30am.
