The Alex Jack Cup is for member clubs of the East of Scotland FA which are not participating in the Scottish Cup, or any other tournament whose winners qualify for the Scottish Cup.

The competition format is straight knockout and the winners will enter a three way play-off with the Southern Counties Alba Cup and Strathclyde Cup winners for a place in the 2026-27 Scottish Cup.
