The South Challenge Cup is for member clubs of the East of Scotland Football League, Scottish Lowland Football League, South of Scotland Football League and West of Scotland Football League.

The first and second rounds will be regionalised into four zones, with Thornton Hibs in the 'North-East Zone'.

First Round - Saturday 20th August 2022
Second Round - Saturday 10th September 2022
Third Round - Saturday 15th October 2022
Fourth Round - Saturday 19th November 2022
Fifth Round - Saturday 4th February 2023
Sixth Round - Saturday 4th March 2023
Semi-Finals - Saturday 1st April 2023
